From a Conveyor Manufacturer in Cali to End-of-Line Cells Across the Americas
Odecopack was founded in 1992 in Cali, Colombia, by Elías Orozco and Luz Elena Franco. The company began by manufacturing conveyor systems for the major industries of the Valle del Cauca, one of Colombia's most industrial regions. Its reputation was built on two qualities customers valued most: reliability and cost-conscious engineering.
With each project, the company's technical capabilities grew. Small automation projects led to more complex systems and eventually to Odecopack's first standardized machine: the stretch wrapper, which remains in the catalog today. The company then built its own line of Cartesian palletizing systems and end-of-line equipment, including case packers and cartoners. All were fed and integrated by the conveyors the company was born on.
In 2021, Odecopack USA Inc. was established in Houston, Texas, with Sebastian Orozco, son of founders Elías and Luz Elena, to bring those engineered solutions to North America. Since then, Odecopack USA has grown steadily, delivering automation projects built on the same engineering that has run on production floors across the Americas for three decades.
