How much does a robotic palletizer cost?
Typical robotic palletizer cost
An Odecopack robotic palletizer starts at $165,000 for the equipment, including standard safety and excluding installation, for US customers. Using a 20% installation allowance gives an initial planning budget of $198,000. Conveyors, site preparation and custom integration are additional, so the final installed cost depends on the line.

How much a robotic palletizer costs installed
The robot arm or palletizing machine is only one part of the budget. For a first estimate, our ROI calculator adds installation at 20% of the equipment price — an assumption you can change, not a quote. A complete turnkey scope may also include end-of-arm tooling, conveyors, pallet handling, guarding, controls, site preparation and integration with the existing line.

Not in these numbers: conveyors and infeed, site preparation, integration with your existing line and any safety beyond standard. At the calculator's example labor assumptions, these budgets pay back in about 14 months (gantry) and 23 months (robotic) — run your own numbers.
What moves palletizer pricing up
No dollar figures here, on purpose — each one depends on your line. These are the questions that decide them.
Case weight
The single biggest fork in the road. Cases up to 65 lb can go on a gantry; anything heavier needs a robotic palletizer and its higher starting price.
Rate and pattern changes
Faster lines and frequently changing pallet patterns favor a robot's cycle time and flexibility over a gantry's simplicity.
Pallet positions
The gantry's published price is for a single-pallet configuration. Building on more than one pallet at a time changes the scope.
Safety scope
Both starting prices include standard safety. Site-specific requirements beyond that are added to the quote — better scoped up front than discovered at installation.
Conveyors and infeed
Accumulation, case orientation and how cases reach the palletizer depend on your layout and are not part of the starting price.
Integration with your line
Connecting to upstream equipment and your plant's controls, or tying the palletizer into a larger integrated line, adds engineering scope.
Installation and site preparation
Installation is excluded from both published prices, as are floor anchoring, power, air and moving any existing equipment out of the way.

How to get a quote that means something
A quote built on a starting price is a guess. Send these and it reflects your line instead — you don't need all of them to start the conversation.
The application form is directly below. Add the information you have today; you can attach a layout, product photos or a short line video.
- Case dimensions
- Length, width and height of every case size you run.
- Heaviest case
- Loaded weight of the heaviest case — it decides gantry or robot.
- Pallet pattern
- Pallet size, pattern and stack height, plus how often it changes.
- Rate
- Cases per minute at the end of the line, sustained and at peak.
- Shifts
- Shifts per day and days per week the line runs.
- Layout
- A floor plan or photos of where the palletizer would go.
- Line connection
- What delivers cases today and what controls the line runs on.
- Safety requirements
- Any site standards beyond standard guarding.
